SOFT LANDSCAPE WORKS

1. Works to be implemented uninterrupted over one continuous site visit.
2. Unrestricted access and egress for appropriate plant machinery and delivery vehicles to all works areas at all times.
3. We will require a secure lay down area for all our materials, trees, shrubs, mulch etc. for storage prior to distribution around site.
4. Tender includes measured bill items only.
5. Variations to measured scope of works subject to extra-over valuation necessarily not pro-rata from original bill.
6. Tender excludes repair of any vandalism.
7. Implementation of planting during normal season i.e. November – March.
8. Tender excludes Main Contractors Discount and excludes VAT.
9. Payment of invoices shall be made within 28 days of the date of issue, or we reserve the right to charge interest on any outstanding balances at the rate of 8% above the current bank base rate, and claim costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (As Amended).
10. Monetary retention limited to 5% with half released at Practical Completion and balance at Final Completion.
11. Tender to remain fixed for 3 months from submission date and open for acceptance for 3 months.
12. Works to be implemented during normal site working hours.
13. No allowance made for the provision of traffic management facilities or for any other Local Authority statutory requirements.
14. All tree/shrub stock offered subject to availability at time of receiving order.
15. Tender allows for watering with hose pipes using multiple, dedicated & free-issue site water supplies.
16. All areas to be adequately topsoiled by “others”, i.e. minimum 400mm deep to shrub beds, 150mm to grass areas and 800mm to tree positions.
17. Tender assumes that Practical Completion certified immediately upon satisfactory implementation.
18. All soft landscape earthwork operations to be implemented prior to the installation of the hard landscape wearing courses as no allowance has been made for protection, remediation or cleaning of completed surfaces.
